Why we chose St. Kilian Chruch
Zachary's grandparents the Van Beek's, raised their family in the St.Kilian Church. Recently, Zachary's parents moved back to the St. Kilian area. From the house you can see the beautiful church on top of the hill. In 2022, we attended Christmas mass and fell in love with the small country feel. We knew that this church was the place we wanted to exchange our vows and start our marriage together. Simple, classic, and small town.
What do we do after the ceremony?
If you are a grandparent, godparent, aunt or uncle, and first cousin please stay after the ceremony for family photos with the bride and groom. Weather is dependent if it inside or outside. If you are a guest, the reception hall will open at 3pm.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
We have a photographer!
The guest's that are invited to our ceremony mean a lot to us. We ask them to be live in time with us, and set their phones and cameras aside to enjoy and worship with us! Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony is at St. Kilian Church in Campbellsport inside. The Reception is at Elderberry Manor which is a barn, which will also be inside. The venue has a beautiful outdoor area. Do you have a Honeymoon Fund?
Yes we do! We do not have our honeymoon fund linked to our wedding registry because we did not want to go though online systems with our banking information. Makes us a tad nervous, we don't want to get hacked. We're so excited to start our lives together and grateful to have such supportive friends and family. If you wish to give a gift, we would be thrilled to receive a contribution towards our honeymoon fund in a card. We will have a card box at our venue!
